The Forrester Wave considered the vendor’s current offering, strategy, and market presence in determining vendor ranking, identifying four core competency traits exhibited by top-tier innovators in mobile commerce. These are “an obsession with and deep expertise in mobile commerce trends and metrics, a continually evolving common platform on which they support their clients, rapid adoption of new device characteristics, and a portfolio of prebuilt commerce modules.”
